Westmont College hoops honored by SBART
The Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table honored the recently crowned NAIA Division One National Champion Westmont Warriors. Last month thewomen’s basketball team became the first team in school history to win a national title in hoops.
At the luncheon Warriors head coach Kirsten Moore brought up star high school player Sydney Hedges and they announced that the 6’1 senior will play for Westmont College starting next year. Hedges led Providence Hall of Santa Barbara to a CIF Division 6 title.
