Injuries and poor play have caused Gauchos to lose six of last seven games

The Gauchos are not just losing games but they are losing players. Junior Kyle Boswell hurt his shoulder in Saturday’s 67-49 loss at Cal Poly and is now questionable for Wednesday’s contest at UC Riverside.

Having lost six of it’s last seven games, UCSB is just 4-9 in league as they try and secure the 8th and final spot in next month’s Big West Conference Tournament in Anaheim.

The Gauchos may have just eight players available for the game at Riverside. All of the losses and injuries are leaving UCSB in a foul mood. Star Alan Williams, Keegan Hornbuckle, Nate Garth and Mitch Brewe have all missed significant time during this losing skid. Garth and Brewe are likely gone for the season.
