Bishop Diego Wins Tri-Valley Crown Over Nordhoff

Bishop Diego hosted Nordhoff Saturday night at La Playa Stadium on the campus of Santa Barbara City College for the Tri-Valley League championship.Nordhoff came into the game ranked first in the CIF Northwest Division while the Cardinals came in at number two.Nordhoff struck first when Ranger quarterback Tanner Workman connected with Matt Woodcock for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter.But Bishop put up 14 unanswered points on an Anthony Carter jump pass on the goal line to Nolan Tooley and later Carter hit BJ Murillo for a 26 yard touchdown in the 2nd half.Bishop Diego gets the win 14-7 over Nordhoff.Cardinals are now 9-0 on the year. Rangers fall to 8-1.
