UCSB hoops is getting Rice graduate transfer Marcus Jackson who is immediately eligible

Joe Pasternack gets his first player as head coach of UCSB as Marcus Jackson will play for the Gauchos.

He is a graduate transfer from Rice and is immediately eligible to play for UCSB.

Jackson is a 6’3 guard who averaged over 12 points per game for the Owls last season and started all 35 contests.

He is from Acton, California and played high school basketball at Pacific Hills.

Recently hired assistant coach Louis Reynaud was an Associate Head Coach at Rice when Jackson first came to the Owls.
