New Noise Fest ends on a high note

The Funk Zone was packed this weekend as new and local bands took the stage at the New Noise Music Festival.

“It’s always about the music,” said New Noise Director Jeff Theimer.

The non-profit started in 2009 and has been a local success ever since. Theimer says the event grows every year. His hope is to expand to bands that might not usually come to Santa Barbara.
