Santa Barbara Waterfront Hotel Changes Name
The Oceano Hotel in Santa Barbara has new owners and will change its name soon.
The new name will be the Hotel Milo, starting in May.
Milo is the first name of Milo Potter. In the 1920’s at the site, the famous Potter Hotel graced the Santa Barbara waterfront. It was destroyed by a fire April 13, 1921.
The current hotel has 122 rooms along Cabrillo Boulevard with views of the ocean and Stearns Wharf.
