Dons celebrate another cheerleading National Title

Three cheers for Santa Barbara High School’s Competitive Cheer Team. For a second straight year the Dons captured the United Spirit Association National Championship for their division.

Santa Barbara County First District Supervisor Salud Carbajal presented the 32-member team with a proclamation during a school celebration at J.R. Richards Gymnasium.

The Dons were one of 17 schools to qualify for Nationals and only five advanced to the finals in Anaheim. The cheer team is coached by Jenn Lemons.
