Assault with a deadly weapon involving a car arrest
An Oxnard resident is in custody charged with assault with deadly weapon involving a vehicle.
Oxnard police say the suspect, Adrian Ceja, purposely hit the victim Sunday night on the 1200 block of West Hill street according to witnesses.
Ceja told police he and the victim got into a fight before the crash.
The victim is recovering from a broken leg.
He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.
