Four more suspects arrested in homicide investigation
Four more suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with the death of Anthony Ibarra, whose body was discovered in a rental truck Monday.A total of eight people are in custody for the torture and killing of the Santa Maria man.
David Maldonado, 55, was arrested at Santa Barbara County Probation Department. Santos Sauceda, 33, and Robert Sosa, 19, were taken into custody during a traffic stop on East Central Avenue.
Anthony Solis, 28, was also arrested by the Santa Maria Police department after a traffic stop on the 1000 block of North Broadway Street.
All four men were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
The investigation into Ibarra’s death began Monday starting at a home on East Donovan in Santa Maria.
Santa Maria police have eight suspects in custody with the help of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI. The first four suspects in custody will be arraigned Friday.
