Rodolfo ‘Creature’ Hernandez Sentenced to Ten Years For Drug Trafficking and Gun Violations

LOS ANGELES (KEYT) – Rodolfo 'Creature' Hernandez of Oxnard was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison on drug trafficking and firearms violations.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Los Angeles field office, Hernandez has been in federal custody since September of 2024 and on Sep. 15, 2025, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, one count of possession of a machine gun, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Hernandez is a known member of the Oxnard-based 'Colonia Chiques' street gang and was initially charged in an indictment handed down by a federal grand jury in 2024 shared the FBI.

The indictment alleged Hernandez planned to distribute around 98.6 grams of methamphetamine and was in possession of multiple firearms including a .380 ACP caliber pistol machinegun and 38 rounds of ammunition.

The federal charges resulted from an initial investigation in Ventura County for state robbery charges added the federal agency.
