Detectives investigating hate material left at front door of Islamic Society of Simi Valley

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KEYT) – Local law enforcement is investigating after hate material was left at the front door of the Islamic Society of Simi Valley on Township Avenue earlier this week.

On April 7, around 9:52 p.m., officers were called to the Islamic Society at 4343 Township Avenue for a reported hate incident stated a press release Wednesday from the Simi Valley Police Department.

The Simi Valley Police Department shared with Your News Channel that a still-unidentified person dropped off business cards with anti-Islamic messages at the front door of the non-profit's building.

The case has been assigned to the local Detective Bureau and remains under investigation. Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Simi Valley Police Department at 805-583-6950.
