Mild temps expected through Friday…

KEYT

A fairly quiet weather pattern will remain in place through Friday. Temperatures will continue to warm a few degrees each day, however morning lows will be chilly. Make sure to have that coat handy!

A weak system will approach the area Thursday night into Friday. This will fizzle out quickly, and the biggest impact we’ll see up and down the coast is a layer of clouds moving through.

High pressure will build back into the region Friday and Saturday with plenty of sunshine expected! A stronger trough will begin to move in Saturday night into Sunday. There could be a chance of showers developing, especially to the north of Point Conception.

When that system moves on off towards the east, gusty Santa Ana winds may develop during the first part of next week.
