Santa Barbara County leaders to discuss evacuations at morning news conference

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Santa Barbara County leaders will discuss the status of the current evacuation warning for the storm at a morning news conference on Monday.

Kelsey Gerckens, county spokesperson, said "The very latest information on evacuations will be announced at the press conference. It is imperative to understand the seriousness of the situation and prepare to take actions to protect oneself, family, pets and any tenants, visitors and workers."

When the conference begins at 11 a.m., News Channel 3-12 will send out an alert to its mobile app users leading them to an in-app live stream. For web-viewers, the livestream will be available here: www.keyt.com/livestream-2.

  • Sheriff Bill Brown, Santa Barbara County Sheriff

  • Kelly Hubbard, Director of Emergency Management
