SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) - The Santa Barbara Foresters blew a 3-run lead in the top of the ninth inning but did score a run in the bottom of the ninth to salvage a 9-9 tie with the Conejo Oaks before they ran out of light.

The Foresters were in control for most of the game leading 3-0 after three innings, and 8-3 through six innings.

But the Oaks battled back to score two runs in the seventh and four more in the 9th to take their first lead of the game at 9-8.

The Foresters avoided a total collapse as Carter Rutenbar doubled in Brady Janusek in the bottom of the ninth to settle for a tie.

Nick Salmon homered for the Foresters who are now 20-5-1 on the season.
