Santa Maria launches new online permitting system portal

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – The City of Santa Maria announced the launch of a new online portal for applying for building and planning permits, searching properties and permits, requesting and canceling inspections, and paying fees.

The new portal can be found at www.cityofsantamaria.or/etrakit and is designed for use by homeowners, contractors, and other design professionals.

To use the system, users must register to create an account. Step-by-step instructions on how to do just that can be found here.
