Woman Arrested for Pushing Student During Disturbance at Cabrillo Middle School Tuesday

VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) – On Tuesday, an adult woman was arrested for pushing a middle school student and causing a disturbance at Cabrillo Middle School.

On the morning of Sep. 15, dispatchers received a report about a transient woman shouting at students in a parking lot at Cabrillo Middle School stated a press release Tuesday from the Ventura Police Department.

The woman, later identified as a resident of Los Angeles, had left the scene before the arrival of police, but she was located nearby and questioned about the incident shared the Ventura Police Department.

During the investigation, a student came forward to share that the woman had made physical contact with them while they were on school grounds noted the local law enforcement agency.

The child did not sustain any injuries from the interaction added the Ventura Police Department.

According to Ventura Police, the woman was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Jail on charges of battery, child endangerment, and trespassing on school grounds.
