KEYT

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through Monday afternoon. While most areas should remain relatively dry, there will be quick downpours in some spots.

A coastal flood advisory is in place for all beach areas until 10:00 pm Tuesday. There is also a high surf advisory for all beaches for the same time period. Breaking waves will be 8 to 14 feet on the Central Coast, 5 to 8 feet on the Ventura Coast, and 4 to 7 feet on the South Coast. Stay aware if you're near the water.

The trough of low pressure currently impacting our weather will slide east by Tuesday, with high pressure building in Wednesday.

Wednesday night into Thursday, another area of low pressure will quickly move in. There is a chance of rain and isolated snow showers in the region. However, rainfall amounts will be low.
