Tracking a warming trend Monday

Clear skies prevail in Santa Barbara Monday morning with some other microclimates facing a few hours of marine clouds. Expect a mostly sunny afternoon with temperature into the 70s for most. Winds will be breezy to start the morning before dying off by lunch. Overnight lows drop down into the 40s, so bundle up overnight!

Look for a small system to impact northern communities of San Luis Obispo Tuesday morning. This may provide a sprinkle or two of rain but impacts will be minimal. Skies turn mostly cloudy for all microclimates and temperatures ease slightly. Winds will pick up and some advisories may be needed.

We begin with a warming trend and Santa Ana Winds Wednesday throughout the weekend. Each morning may have an hour or so of fog before mostly sunny skies prevail. Weak to moderate Santa Ana winds are in the forecast and will bring temperatures back to 80s by Friday. This will be a short lived wind event.
