Tracking isolated showers and thunderstorms Thursday

Expect isolated showers and thunderstorms Thursday. The low pressure system is moving over Southern California by the early morning hours producing fast moving heavy spurts of rainfall. These systems can drop a large portion of water in a short period of time and may produce lightning. All pop up showers are short lived as they move rapidly, meaning impacts today will be minor. We hold with soggy weather through the overnight.

A small 10-20% chance of showers remains Friday. These pop up storms will be the remnants of the low pressure systems from days prior.

We dry out Saturday and into next week as high pressure builds back in. This will bring temperatures into the 70s and low 80s. We hold with a dry pattern through the end of next week.
