Roadwork planned for Templeton area this week

TEMPLETON, Calif. -- The County of San Luis Obispo is warning drivers about roadwork planned for Wednesday and Thursday near Templeton.

Public Works says it's happening on Jack Creek Road Bridge, which is near Highway 46 and four miles west Templeton.

The bridge will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

Crews say they will be doing design work to replace the bridge.

The county plans to replace it in the summer of 2024.

Drivers are being asked to take alternate routes like Highway 46 and Vineyard Drive to access Jack Creek Road.
