Harry & Meghan Returning to UK to Raise Kids
MONTECITO, Calif. (KEYT) Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter are moving to the United Kingdom.
Royal Expert and Montecito Journal Columnist Richard Mineards said he has been aware they were planning to make a move.
"They have been here 6 years now," said Mineards, who has been on network TV for decades reporting on the royal family.
"We now know they want to go back because the King accepted Meghan and he loved the grandchild Lilibet and Archie so it is not unexpected, but he will not be welcome by William the Prince of Wales because it is very clear William is very unhappy with his younger brother, but we will wait and see what happens," said Mineards.
Although Mineards has been recovering from an illness he continues to keep up with news about the royal family.
The children are reportedly already signed up for school near London and Archie may end up going to the same school that his father and uncle attended in the future.
People magazine had exclusive rights to part of the story.
People is reporting they will live in a private home that is not on royal property.
Mineards believes their home in Montecito will eventually go on sale to cover their expenses.
