Hunter / Jumpers shine at Santa Barbara National

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) It is Hunter, Jumper week.

Riders are competing at the Santa Barbara National Horse show at the Earl Warren Showgrounds all weekend.

They are competing in outdoor rings and inside the arena.

The event has been a Santa Barbara tradition for more than a 100 years

Kristin Hardin said she has been riding in the show since she was a child.

"We just did the Hap Hansen jumper classic named after my trainer when i was a kid and I just won it on a horse that i bred and raised and i live just on the other side of the hill in Cuyama where I breed my horses," said Hardin.

The Santa Barbara national horse show continues on Sunday from 7 am to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Spectators are welcome to watch.
