ShelterBox Moves Into Active Relief Effort in Venezuela

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) - Emergency relief is now reaching communities across Venezuela as recovery efforts continue after last month’s powerful earthquake.

ShelterBox has transitioned from assessing damage to delivering aid, placing response teams on the ground to coordinate emergency assistance in the hardest-hit areas.

Emergency shelter materials and essential supplies are being shipped from pre-positioned warehouses in Panama and Barbados, working alongside local partners to reach families affected by the disaster.

As recovery moves forward, the humanitarian organization is focused on helping thousands of people secure safe shelter and begin rebuilding their lives.
