Suspect arrested after shelter-in-place order issued in Vandenberg Village

VANDENBERG VILLAGE, Calif. - A person wanted in connection to a stolen vehicle was taken into custody by law enforcement Monday morning.

According to the Santa Barbara's County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement officers were searching in the Vandenberg Village area for a suspect who ran from a stolen vehicle on the 200 block of St. Andrews Way.

A shelter-in-place order was issued in the area of Vandenberg Village at around 6 a.m.

The suspect, who was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and jeans, was later detained by law enforcement.

The shelter-in-place order was lifted around 7:45 a.m.
