Suspicious Fire Tuesday Morning at Sinsheimer Stadium Under Investigation

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (KEYT) – Fire crews responded to what has been deemed a suspicious fire at Sinsheimer Stadium early Tuesday morning.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, a fire was reported at the stadium at 2:55 a.m. and involved a storage building and a nearby tree.

The fire originated outside of the building and investigators are now working to determine what exactly sparked the flames added the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.

More information is expected to come out as law enforcement and fire investigators search for evidence at the scene shared the local fire response agency.
