OCEANO, Calif. -- The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in an Oceano armed robbery.

Deputies want anyone with information about the crime that happened Monday morning at Oceano Market on Front Street.

Witnesses say a man entered the store, demanded cash from the clerk, and brandished a handgun.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt.

Witnesses saw the robber getting into a 2009-2013 Mitsubishi Gallant with another man and heading south toward Los Berros Road.

Deputies released photos from surveillance video taken when the robbery happened.

Anyone who can identify the robber or the getaway car is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 805-781-4500.
