Police: drug conversion lab sparks Arroyo Grande house fire

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. -- An Arroyo Grande home fire led detectives to a drug conversion lab.

Police and firefighters say they were called to the scene in the 100 block of Brisco Road around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say a drug conversion lab in the kitchen sparked the fire.

One person suffered minor injuries.

Police turned the scene over to the San Luis Obispo Special Operations Unit.

Investigators say they will seek criminal charges against the resident for manufacturing a dangerous drug.

No other structures were damaged.

Police say no one else was hurt either.
