ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of California who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Winners of previous KCOY or kcoy.com contests or sweepstakes are not eligible to win another KCOY or kcoy.com Sweepstakes within a 90-day period.
Employees, temporary employees, independent contractors and interns of KCOY or kcoy.com or News-Press and Gazette their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, other sweepstakes sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies (hereinafter “Sweepstakes Providers”) and the immediate family members of each, are not eligible to win prizes.
HOW TO ENTER: You may enter by: Replying back to the “Price is Right Live Ticket Giveaway” contest post on Facebook with a quick comment on what it would mean to you to win these tickets. Follow all instructions listed at kcoy.com observing all posted deadlines (see DEADLINES below.
DEADLINES: The Sweepstakes begins at 4:00pm PST on 2/8/16 and ends at 5:00 pm on 2/12/16.
The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the on-line Sweepstakes will be News-Press & Gazette’s server machine(s) located in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone. Participants entering close to the posted deadline do so with this information in mind.
No responsibility is assumed by KCOY, kcoy.com or News-Press and Gazette, their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, or other Sweepstakes sponsor for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Multiple entries by the same person, including those made electronically by one person using one or more accounts, will result in disqualification. All entries must be submitted from a valid Facebook account that may be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means, including, without limitation, reverse domain name search. Potential winner may be requested to provide Sweepstakes Providers with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash; substitutions may not be requested. By participating in Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, participants and winner will be deemed to agree to these Rules. Travel is not included unless specifically stated. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local income and any other taxes, fees and surcharges. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for all prizes with a retail value in excess of $600. Sweepstakes Providers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
WINNER SELECTION: Winner selections shall take place on or about daily between 2/8/16 and 2/17/16 at 1211 W. McCoy Ln. The winners will be selected by a random drawing from all qualified entries postmarked by the deadline. Winner selection will be made by Sweepstakes Providers, whose decision shall be final. Winners will be notified by e-mail, phone, U.S. mail and/or overnight courier on or near date specified. If a winner is unreachable after two (2) business days, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing from the remaining qualified entries. In order to be named a winner, potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability upon accepting a prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Sweepstakes Providers’ respective privacy policies, Participants grant to Sweepstakes Providers, and Sweepstakes Providers reserve, the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information provided by Participants in connection with the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. Participants may be required to sign a release, which grants to Sweepstakes Providers the right to use and publish their proper name and state of residence online or in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. By accepting a prize, winner(s) may be required to sign a release that grants permission to Sweepstakes Providers to use his or her name, photograph, likeness, voice, prize information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without future compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Providers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.
CONDUCT: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at http://www.kcoy.com throughout the Sweepstakes. Participants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sweepstakes Providers, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sweepstakes Providers reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web site; or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules.
You agree that in your participation in the Sweepstakes you will not use obscene, libelous or slanderous language, or language that infringes upon a third party’s trademark, trade name or other intellectual property right or right of privacy. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KCOY, kcoy.com or News-Press and Gazette, their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, or other Sweepstakes sponsors, officers, consultants, agents, and employees against and from all claims, damages liabilities, costs and expenses asserted by third parties alleging that the Sweepstakes includes obscenity, libel, slander, or infringes upon the third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights, as a direct result of your actions in connection with the Sweepstakes. You further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes or to prevent others’ participation in the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE WEB SITES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SWEEPSTAKES PROVIDERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
RULES / WINNERS LIST: Official Rules and the name of the winner may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: KCOY, 1211 West McCoy Lane, Santa Maria, Ca 93455. Indicate “Price Is Right Sweepstakes Winners List” on the outside of the envelope as applicable. Limit one (1) request per envelope. The request must include the name of the Sweepstakes. The names, logos, and icons identifying the products and services of Sweepstakes Providers are proprietary marks of KCOY, kcoy.com, or News-Press and Gazette. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted material or trademarks without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release and Limitations of Liability
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Contest, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) any other errors or problems in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Contest, the announcement of the winner, the cancellation or postponement of the event and/or the flyover, if applicable, or in any Contest-related materials; or (e) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Contest or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Disputes
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in St Joseph MO. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of St Joseph MO, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than St Joseph MO.
