Memorial Fund Set Up for Oxnard Homicide Victim

A memorial fund has been set up for Labh Nigah who was killed in Sierra Linda Park on November 13.

Anyone wishing to donate money to the Labh Nigah Memorial Fund may walk into any Rabobank branch and make a deposit. People can also mail a check to: Rabobank County Center Branch. 1171 South Victoria Avenue. Suite 2A. Ventura, CA 93003.

The money will go to Nigah’s family to pay for funeral and medical costs as well as other expenses.

Nigah, was found in Sierra Linda Park after he was attacked and repeatedly stabbed. He died shortly after from his injuries.

One person was seen running from the crime scene, heading west through the park onto Holly Street, police said.

Investigators believe witnesses may have seen the suspect in the park in the days leading up to the attack. They also said the suspect may have been hurt during the attack and sought medical treatment.

Oxnard police is offering a $10,000 reward for any information about this crime.
