NewsChannel 3 Owner Completes Purchase of Fox 11

KEYT NewsChannel 3 parent company News-Press & Gazette Company (“NPGCo”) completed the purchase of KKFX-CA (FOX-11) and entered into a shared services arrangement to manage KCOY-TV (CBS-12) on Friday.

NPGCo also took ownership ofKION-TV (CBS) and KMUV-LP (Telemundo), in Monterey/Salinas.

Approval from the Federal Communications Commission allowed the sale to be completed Friday.

Under the shared services agreement for KCOY-12, NPGCo will provide operating assistance to the station, including news, back office, engineering, and sales support services.

NPGCo is not associated with the ownership of the Santa Barbara News-Press.
