SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara County's Department of Social Services is launching The Farmworker Resource Center Project.

This project focuses on building trust and relationships with farmworkers, promoting and enhancing the agricultural industry in the county, according to organizers.

It also attracts farmworkers to Santa Barbara County as a first-choice destination to work in agriculture.

The department said it also known as "Proyecto Campesino," which provides access to services and programs designed to address the needs of farmworkers, their families, and employers (growers) throughout Santa Barbara County.
