PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Police in Paso Robles arrested a man on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale.

Police say they stopped a car on the 1000 block of Veronica Street early Wednesday morning to contact a person who was on probation.

Lowell Henslin was a passenger inside. Police said he appeared to be high on drugs.

When officers search the vehicle, a police dog with the Atascadero State Hospital found a suspicious box inside the car.

Five ounces of meth, seven grams of heroin, a scale, packaging material, cash and a pill capsule containing an unknown powder were found inside.

Henslin was arrested and is facing possible charges for drug sales.
