Cast your vote for local motorcyle safety program
Allstate Insurance Company is awarding $25,000 to 5 people with the best ideas for advancing motorcycle safety and awareness. The award will be split among the five winners.
More than 300 entries were received in this nationwide competition and a Santa Barbara resident has made it to the top 15.
Vittorio Grieco works at Moto Loco, a local motorcycle shop on Carpinteria Street. Hisideais touse the $5,000 toward setting up a series of monthly family friendly events where motorcycle riders can freely talk and learn about how to stay protected. The events would include speakers, inspections of motorcycles, videos, and music and food for attendees.
