Fire causes major damage to mobile home
Carpinteria-Summerland Fire District responded to a structure fire just after 3 p.m. Friday.
It happened on the 5700 block of Via Real in Carpinteria at the San Roque Mobile Home Park.
A man was treated and released on scene for smoke inhalation. The fire was extinguished by 3:23 p.m
Carpinteria-Summerland Fire District Chief Mike Gallagher said the mobile home is a total loss. No other homes were damaged.
Montecito Fire also assisted on scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
