Child hurt in freak accident
A ten-year-old boy is hurt after he fell out of a car he was driving in Lompoc.
It happened Thursday night when a drunk family member asked the boy to take the wheel.
He did, but it wasn’t long before the boy fell out of the car.
The child was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.
The relative was arrested for DUI and felony child endangerment.
