Local Wineries in China on a Promotional Trip

Many local vintners are in China this week hoping to find new customers from the other side of the world.

There’s a growing interest in California wines in China. Along with Santa Barbara County vintners, there will be wineries represented from Napa and Paso Robles.

It’s part of the ProWine China 2013 Trade Fair.

Wine sales in China have become a $1 billion dollar business.

Industry experts say the demand for California wine has doubled since 2008.
