Swedish Sand Sent to Help Beach Erosion Problem

Port Hueneme’s beach erosion problem is getting a little help from children in Sweden.

The Rademaeker brothers collected handfuls of sand on a beach in Stockholm and mailed it to Port Hueneme’s City Hall.

Their effort was posted on YouTube. The boys visited Hueneme beach during the summer.

They sent a card with the care package saying they hope to inspire people from all over the globe to send sand to Hueneme beach.
