Cartel arrest heightens drug trafficking concerns
The arrest of a suspected Mexican drug lord has some people very nervous.
Mexican marines said they arrested one of the Zeta’s kingpins this week.
The Zeta cartel is known for smuggling drugs and people into the U.S.
It is also known for dangling body parts over freeway overpasses in border towns.
People who work in Oxnard don’t think his arrest will stop the drug violence linked to gangs.
They said Miguel Angel Trevino Morales will be replaced or call the shots from prison.
But Oxnard residents said they hope the arrest will make travel to and from Mexico safer than it has been.
