Tracking a cooldown Monday

The Central Coast saw a very toasty weekend but luckily, a cooldown is expected this workweek. Monday is the start of cooler conditions with temperatures reaching into the 60s and 70s near the coast and 90s inland. Some fog and clouds will be seen through the region early on in the morning but will clear by lunch.

Tuesday will be a few degrees cooler as the high pressure system moves more to the east. It'll be another day of clouds early on in the morning, decreasing quickly. Tuesday night could be a rather humid and possibly rainy as some moisture works its way in from tropical storm Eugene. As of now it looks to be a slight chance, with any rain amounts looking considerably light and impacting higher terrain.

Wednesday will be another cool day with temperatures below average for this time in August. Along with cooler temperatures we are tracking the potential for some showers to move across the area. For now it looks to be a 20% chance for rain to work its way into the Central Coast, but this will need to be monitored.
