Clear and cool Tuesday ahead

Following the wet start to the week, more sunshine and dry conditions are expected on Tuesday. Temperatures will be slightly warmer, but remain below seasonal average for the majority of this week. Daytime highs will be in the low 60s and upper 50s, while overnight lows hover near or below freezing for parts of the region.

A Frost Advisory will be in effect from 1am-8am Tuesday for the Central Coast of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties, Lake Casitas, and Ojai Valley. Lows will be just above freezing Tuesday morning and below freezing Wednesday morning. A Freeze Watch will be in effect from late Tuesday through Wednesday morning.

Gusty Northeasterly winds will accompany the below normal temperatures, with wind speeds between 20-30 mph expected, with gusts up to 50 mph. A Wind Advisory has been issued for most of Ventura County. It will be in effect from 8pm Monday until 6pm Tuesday for the Mountains and Valleys of Ventura County, and from 3am06am Tuesday for Ventura County Beaches.

Temperatures remain consistent this week, with no drastic changes expected. There is another chance of rain over the weekend.
