Sunny skies and cool temperatures ahead

Daytime high temperatures were slightly cooler on Friday, but will remain generally consistent through the weekend and into next week. Temperatures are below seasonal average, with highs on Saturday primarily in the 50s and 60s once again.

Low temperatures will once again hover near or below freezing overnight and into early Saturday morning, which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue another Frost Advisory. It will be in effect from 1am until 8am on Saturday for San Luis Obispo County's Inland Central Coast, Santa Barbara County's Inland Central Coast and Beaches, along with the Santa Ynez Valley and Ojai Valley. Frost formation is likely under these circumstances.

The Coastal Flood Advisory has been lifted and downgraded to a Beach Hazards Statement. This will be in effect through Sunday evening for the beaches of San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, and Ventura County. Minor flooding is a possibility at this time and it is best to proceed with caution near or around the beaches.

Sunny and clear skies will accompany the cool temperatures this weekend.
