Tuesday temperatures are increasing, with even warmer weather in the week ahead

Temperatures are staying warm, and even increasing in some cases Tuesday. The Central Coast will be in the 70s, South Coast up to the low 80s, and inland up to the low 90s.

High pressure is building into the state. Offshore trends are continuing, too, leaving much of the area mostly clear. There will still be some patchy morning marine layer along the Central Coast, plus very weak sundowners on the Southwest coast at night.

Onshore flow is increasing Wednesday, which will fill out the marine layer a little better. We are back to offshore trends Thursday and Friday. With the ridge building more, temperatures will increase further at the end of the work week.

A cut-off upper low will form over Northern Mexico over the weekend and onshore flow will increase once again. Consequently, a cooldown will start by Sunday.
