Friday evening forecast May 6th

KEYT

Temperatures warmed up just a bit today but that will drop over the weekend, especially coming on Sunday. We saw very little marine layer but it could roll back in but just along the coast Saturday morning. Like today, that marine layer will be quick and may be gone from our forecast the remainder of the weekend. Temperatures today will be similar tomorrow, staying in those mid-60s and low 70s across the central coast.

Mentioned before, fog coverage will be minimal over the weekend and irrelevant in the valley regions. There is a chance of that marine layer coming through Sunday evening as cooler temperatures also arrive. It will be below average temperatures next week with a chance of a warm up mid week.

A wind advisory is in place from today until Saturday morning in the Santa Ynez Mountains and southern Santa Barbara coast. After that advisory expires Saturday morning, expect another to be put in place as gusts will be strongest Saturday into Sunday.
