Friday morning forecast November 26th

Black Friday will stay warm, even tacking on a couple more degrees. Temperatures will be above average by about 10 degrees, in the 70s to low 80s. Wear summer-weather clothes out for holiday shopping!

There is another freeze warning in the San Luis Obispo County interior valleys with low temperatures between 28 to 32 degrees. Daytime highs will be nice as the ridge of high pressure is settling firmly into Southern California and offshore flow is strong.

Northeasterly winds are still present, but calmer from Thursday. Wind advisories will expire in the Ventura County mountains at 6:00 am, the valleys at noon, and the coast at 9:00 am. Gusts could reach over 40 mph.

A red flag warning is staying in effect until 6:00 pm for all of Ventura County. Relative humidity is expected to be dry in the single digits. An air quality alert is also in effect until 9:00 am with blowing dust and sand.

The ridge will stick around through the weekend and into next week. An earlier sea breeze may cool the coast a tad Saturday, but inland areas may continue warming.

Next week, northeasterly winds may puff up a bit in canyon areas each morning. A second ridge will approach from the west by midweek, and temperatures will stay warm.
