Saturday Evening Forecast Nov 6th

Strong onshore flow continues to hold form across our region and a storm system is about to enter our forecast window. For the overnight and in to Sunday, look for more coastal fog which could be dense in some areas. For now, there are no official advisories, but that could change at any moment. We will update and notify as soon as we get any advisory for dense fog from the National Weather Service. Temperatures will stay on the cool to mild for Sunday with most areas seeing highs in the 60's to low 70's.

Looking ahead, another large and very wet storm system is rolling in to the pacific Northwest bring more drought relief! The system will drop farther south early next week bringing a slight chance for light rain to our region. For now, all of our short range forecast computers see just very light amounts and that would be for our northern regions only. The best chance for sprinkles will be Tuesday with maybe a very slight chance late Monday. By mid week, the system will be well to our east. High pressure is expected to build across interior regions and that should kick off some breezy north winds which will then likely turn northeast by late in the work week. This is the classic whiplash weather where we go from rain chances to Santa Ana offshore winds and much warmer temperatures. Widespread 80's will be expected by Thursday & last in to next weekend.
