Wednesday morning forecast October 20th
Temperatures are changing very little Wednesday. The entire region will still be slightly below average in the upper 60s to 70s.
The day will be partly to mostly cloudy as a weak front moves over Monterey County. The northwest corner of San Luis Obispo County could see a light shower in the morning.
Temperatures will keep warming Thursday brining many areas into the 70s and some valleys into the 80s, within a couple degrees of normal. However, warming will be short lived as the region cools by 3-8 degrees both Friday and Saturday.
Starting Friday, a series of troughs will sweep through ahead of a strong upper low that is moving towards Washington and Oregon from Alaska. There is a slight chance of rain in San Luis Obispo County Friday morning, but a better chance of showers across the entire region Sunday and Monday. Preliminary estimates are upwards of an inch in some areas, with the bulk of rain activity happening north of Point Conception.
