Wednesday morning forecast June 9th

Temperatures are changing little Wednesday on the Central Coast with most areas in the 60s. The South Coast and inland areas are warming slightly, ranging from the upper 60s to the 70s.

Patchy morning clouds are returning to the Central Coast, but will clear away quicker. The South Coast has a clearer start thanks to overnight winds.

A trough is stalling along the West Coast during the day, but will pivot towards Nevada in the evening.

Another round of gusty sundowner winds will impact Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. An advisory will go into effect at 3:00 pm on the South Coast and Santa Barbra County mountains and at midnight for the Ventura County mountains. Both advisories will last through mid-morning Thursday.

Northerly flow will take over Thursday and a ridge of high pressure will build into the region from Mexico. Sundowners will make another return to Santa Barbara County.

The warming trend will continue through the weekend with temperatures reaching above average by a few degrees.
