Windy conditions continue through Friday

Gusty west to north winds will continue through Friday, strongest over Santa Barbara County. Another low pressure system moves into the area and lingers through Saturday bringing cooler temperatures. A warming trend is expected Monday and Tuesday.

Wind is the big weather story over the next couple days. Strong northerly flow will bring gusty sundowner winds. The strong winds are continuing until Friday. A Wind Advisory is in place for the Central Coast until 9PM Thursday, for the Santa Barbara South Coast and mountains until 6AM Friday. The winds will start to pick up in Ventura County on Friday.

A deep upper level low is sliding slowly south this will start cooling off temperatures for San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County. Highs along the Central Coast will range from the upper 50s to mid 60s, the Santa Barbara south coast will still enjoy mid 70s with inland spots in the 70s.

Onshore flow will bring cooler temperatures through Saturday but it will be difficult for clouds to form for now.

Sunday temperatures recover as low exits Sunday. Another weak trough on Tuesday and Wednesday will start cooling us back down.
