Tuesday morning forecast April 27th
Temperatures are warming very slightly on the Central Coast and up to 10 degrees on the South Coast. Most northern areas will still below average in the upper 50s to upper 60s. The South Coast will reach the low 70s.
Another upper low is retrograding through LA County, but will miss our region with any rainfall. Conditions will be sunnier.
By Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure will build quickly with northeasterly flow and rising heights. Temperatures will warm rapidly by 8 to 18 degrees.
A subadvisory level Santa Ana wind event will affect Ventura County Wednesday as well, lowering relative humidity and making for extra breezy conditions.
The ridge will continue building Thursday, but will weaken slightly Friday. Temperatures will reach the 70s to 80s on coasts and in valleys, but could even reach 90 degrees in interior areas.
Over the weekend, temperatures will cool by a few degrees each day with the return of onshore flow as a trough approaches California from the Pacific Northwest.
