Monday morning forecast April 26th

Temperatures are warming very slightly, but will remain about 10 degrees below average. Most areas will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

A chance of rain is lingering in the mountains, but the storm is well on its way out of the region. Gusty winds may pick up at times in interior areas.

On Tuesday, another upper low will retrograde through LA County, but our region is not likely to see any rain. Temperatures will warm by a couple of degrees.

A low end Santa Ana wind event will hit Ventura County Wednesday morning. Northeast upper level flow will prevail everywhere.

A ridge of high pressure will begin building into the region Wednesday and stay through the end of the week, increasing temperatures dramatically. By Thursday, most cities will be several degrees above average in the 70s to 80s.

Over the weekend, the ridge will push to the east ahead of a trough from the Pacific Northwest. Each day will drop by around 5 degrees.
